Tue, Jul 12: Embark on the Tundra Wilderness Tour. Travel 53 miles deep into Denali National Park, home to North America's highest peak, Mount McKinley. Remainder of day to enjoy optional activities such as flight-seeing, river rafting or horseback riding. (Snack)
Wed, Jul 13: Enjoy a relaxing morning before our personal tour of the homestead and dog kennels of four-time Iditarod chamption, Jeff King. Then reboard the McKinley Explorer train as you travel to Fairbanks. Check into your hotel.
Thu, Jul 14: Today take a riverboat cruise to visit a recreated native Indian village and see a bush plane take off. Continue your adventure aboard one of Holland America’s luxury motorcoaches. Enjoy sightseeing along the famed Alaska Highway to Tok for the night.
Fri, Jul 15: Travel the remote Taylor Highway to Chicken, Alaska and on to historic Eagle to cruise up the remote Yukon River to Dawson City, Canada. Spend the next two nights here, in the heart of the Klondike National Historic Site. (L,D)
Sat, Jul 16: Dawson City was the heart of the Klondike Gold Rush. Soak up the gold rush atmosphere or take an optional tour to untamed Tombstone Park. This ancient wonderland features unique and rugged landscapes and a full range of wildlife.
Sun, Jul 17: Sightsee via luxury coach along the Klondike Highway past Five Finger Rapids on the Yukon River. Arrive in Whitehorse, the capital of the Yukon Territory. Tonight kick up your heels at the uproarious Frantic Follies Vaudeville Revue. (L)
Mon, Jul 18: This Klondike Trail adventure features the vintage White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad from Carcross to Lake Bennett. Enjoy an included lunch and walking tour, then reboard the train to Skagway and descend from 3,000 feet to sea level along old miners trails! Overnight in Skagway. A group dinner is included tonight. Tue, Jul 19: Transfer to the ms Zuiderdam, your five-star ship, and spend the day exploring on board or ashore. There is time for an optional excursion before sailing this evening. (L,D)
